Description: Anti-corporate project of TFE3 targeted specifically at the eradication of fossil fuel use and generally at the elimination of corporations.

Primary funder: The Energy Foundation (9 grants totaling $517,000 since 1992), a consortium of 7 large foundations with combined assets of $21 billion and substantial investments in shares of oil and gas corporations other than Exxon Mobil.

Self-description: The Sustainable Energy and Economic Development (SEED) Coalition is an alliance of individuals, businesses, and organizations advocating sustainable energy strategies for Texas, including the use of renewables and conservation. SEED also educates the public about the economic, environmental, and health benefits of a sustainable energy strategy. SEED tracks relevant policy-making and legislative processes and informs the public of opportunities to voice their opinions
