Pressurepoint was created by
Chris Doran, Stop Exxon
Mobil National Campaign Coordinator, now
relocated to Greenpeace in Washington, D.C.

1996-1999: Doran was an
anti-mining campaigner for the Wilderness Society of
Australia (not affiliated with the Wilderness Society in the U.S.)
in Sydney.

1999: arrested and held 4 days in jail for participating in
Seattle WTO riots.

Day 2000 coordinator with Earth Day
Network of Seattle.

Attended the Global Greens Gathering in
Canberra, Australia in April 2001
where he helped win approval of a direct
action focus on Exxon Mobil.

David Cobb of Texas
Green Party at Exxon Mobil annual shareholders
meeting in Dallas, chanted "Exxon Mobil stop killing
for oil." Both men were escorted out and released.

a 7-person board of directors with authority over
Pressurepoint’s programs.

coordinating council member Green Party
of Seattle.

Doran’s
mentor in forming Pressurepoint was Patrick Mazza,
researcher and writer with Olympia, Washington-based Climate
Solutions, a project of Earth Island Institute (San Francisco).
Mazza is a member of Pressurepoint's Board of Advisers.
